ECUADOR, PERU… ECUADOR, PERU…

(Version française plus bas)

I have been posting about Ecuador but it’s been a week I crossed the Peruvian border. I was thinking it would make more sense to first post about Ecuador, then Peru, then about other countries I’ll be visiting. But I have so many photos of Ecuador…!

The reason is: I just spent four months in Ecuador with Jet Set Zero for whom I was blogging while working at a restaurant in Quito. For lack of time, I put the idea of creating my own blog in the back of my mind along with the photos I wanted to share with you.

That’s why they are all coming almost at once now!

But I’ve come to realize, it would be nice for you to follow what I am currently doing. So here’s the plan: I’ll be blogging about Peru- my photos, thoughts, experiences, when I can. In between those posts you’ll see more of Ecuador.

How does it sound?

If you feel like it’s hard to keep track, there’s a tool that can help you.
At the end of each post there is a box that says “Filed under” and “Tags”. Well, my posts about Ecuador will be “Tagged” and “Filed under Ecuador”, whereas the ones about Peru will be “Tagged” and “Filed under Peru.”

I hope it helps you keep up!

EQUATEUR, PEROU… EQUATEUR, PEROU…

  1. Lauren, I was with a group of people that you waited on in your restaurant in Quito. We were from Wisconsin, and a couple of us from Madison. We were coming from the Galapagos Islands, and going to Machu Pichu. We spoke of Madison, Edgewood College, Wisc. Public Radio, etc. I was at a United Nations luncheon last Sunday. I sat next to your friend, Sara , from the International Students office at Edgewood. I mentioned meeting you in Quito. She said you were good friends. .. What a small world! I hope your travels continue to be wonderful. Your photos are good. I will put my photos from my travel website. Just wanted to look at your blog, and wonder at the small world. Happy travels from Madison.

Of course I remember you and your group! Sara told me the story actually! It’s incredible!
Please let me know your Web site address so I can have a look at you photos!
