BIOGRAPHY
From France. I am a freelance journalist: reporter, travel writer, blogger, photographer and videographer.
I am currently traveling in South America to document my experiences and encounters, and share them with you.
Sometimes my photos say it all, but most of the time I like to complement them with stories or anecdotes.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Many photojournalists are committed to photograph disasters, human tragedies, social despair and poverty. As much as I am moved by their striking, powerful and emotional images, I think another aspect of reality is often left out: the reality of optimism, progress and hope. That’s what I like best to focus on in my work. Capturing daily life, just as it is. And let you be the judge. Here is an example of what I like to do.
LAURENE IN A NUTSHELL
1) I travel because I like to meet people from other cultures, bond with them and listen to their stories. And share those with you.
2) I tend to smell, touch and taste everything new I come across.
3) My favorite place is the ocean. If I were an animal, I would be a flying fish.
